The Tax Update Webinar with GRA’s head of tax, Anthony Lipscombe, was the third presentation in our Market Update Series and was held on 15 August.
Anthony and I looked at the tax changes introduced by the Labour Government, with a particular focus on the bright-line, loss ring-fencing and interest non-deduction rules, and their impact on property investors. We also discussed the new 39% trust tax rate, and related party transactions.

There are six webinars in the 2023 Market Update Series, and recordings of all of them will be uploaded onto our Tax and Property Videos page once they are ready.

The book shows thorough research on a range of topics with clear concise kiwi examples. The books title does not do it justice – heres hoping a ‘property 201’ book is in the pipeline… - Bernard - October 2015
